From the first days of traveling, the visitor is plunge in the heart of unique and green landscapes of Sikkim which traditions swing between Tibetan and Indian culture. From Gangtok, the road goes to the south of Bhutan for an unforgettable discovery of this mythic kingdom and its many wealth’s: seducing landscapes, typical architecture, lively culture and traditions... A real immersion in the heart of another world with in the background the eternal snows.
Located between Nepal and Bhutan, the Sikkim is still really preserved. From the middle mountains covered with thick forest at the south, to the snowy high peaks making the Tibetan border at the North, the landscapes are very contrasted. On the track of Alexandra David Neel, who remained in the area for many years, we discover this paradise with its tree ferns, its orchids, its giant rhododendrons and its magnificent monasteries.
The Bhutan, forbidden to foreigners for long, remains a very preserved country, where traditions and customs, are constantly mixed to the religion and rhythm the daily life. The discovery of its architecture will be the main appeal of this incredible tour.

Airport pickup and overnight in hotel in the center of the town.
1h30 of flight and 2 H of road
In the morning flight for Bagdogra. Then we leave the Himalayan piedmont to go up the pre-Himalayan high hills. Taking the traditional tea road, we will go up at more than 2000 m to reach, after a 2 H drive, Darjeeling. Overnight stay in hotel.
Early morning start to Tiger Hill from where we watch the sun rise over the Himalayan range, dominated by the third highest mountain in the world, Mount Kangchenjunga. Visit Ghoom monastery. We also visit the tea plantations. Overnight in hotel.

Departure for Sikim. Visit of Pegmayangtse. Night at the hotel.
5/6h of drive
Road to Gangtok. We go through the village of Tashiding that we visit as well as its monastery. Then by the road, we get to the Rumtek lamasery that we visit. We carry on to Gangtok. Night at the hotel.
3/4 h of drive
In the morning, visit of the “Tibetology” institute. Visit of the lamasery and of the Phodung monastery. Road in direction of Kalimpong. Stop at the “Tashi Point View”, facing the Kachenjunga (8590 m). We reach the city-market of Kalimpong. Night at the hotel.
5/6 h of drive
Slope down along the river to get to Jaigon. We enter Bhutan and get to Phuntsoling. Night at the hotel.
6 h of drive
The road is going up, bend after bend, to Chhuka, Simtokha and Thimphu (2300 m). On the way to Thimphu, break at Kharbandi monastery. Night at the hotel at Thimpu.
3/4 h of road
Road to Tongsa. Walk into Dzong village. Arrival in Tongsa and night at the hotel.
2 h of drive
In the morning, departure to Jakar. After lunch, walking visit of the Dzong and then above of the Lame Gompa. Night at the hotel.
Visit of the main monasteries of the Bumthang valley. Walk in direction of Tangbi (2 H). Visit of Tamshing. Night at the hotel.
4/5 h of drive
We reach Punakha valley. Visit of Punakha and of the Punakha’s dzong. Night at the hotel.
5 h of drive
Road to Paro. Visit of the city. Night at the hotel.
Trip through the Paro valley and many visits. Night at the hotel.
1 h 30 of flight
Transfer to the airport in Paro and flight to Delhi. Transfer to the hotel close to the airport and to the international airport of Delhi for your return flight.
