This journey begins in Darjeeling, a gem of a hill station in the mountains of West Bengal known for its pristine beauty and heavenly landscapes. In Darjeeling, you can visit the famed tea plantations and experience the UNESCO World Heritage Himalayan Railway.

From Darjeeling, we will then head to the capital of Sikkim, Gangtok. You will visit Tibetan monasteries and enjoy the unique handicrafts of the city.

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Welcome at the airport and transfert to the hotel, in the center of Delhi for overnight stay.

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

On arrival in Delhi; warm welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the center of Delhi. Rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel. Stay overnight.

Day 3

Visit Darjeeling

Early morning excursion to Tigerhill and Ghoom Monastery and back. After breakfast half day city tour of Darjeeling visiting Tibetan Refugee Self help Center, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoo. PM toy train ride upto Ghoom and back.

Day 4

Darjeeling – Gangtok

110 kms / 4-5 hrs drive

PM free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

Visit Gangtok

Morning excursion to Rumtek Monastery and on the way back visit to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. PM visit to Handicraft Center, Enchey Monastery and walk around Gangtok town and walk back to hotel.

Day 6

Gangtok to Kalimpong

Morning excursion to Rumtek Monastery and on the way back visit to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. PM visit to Handicraft AM drive. Visit to Dzongdogpelri Monastery and walk around Kalimpong town.

Day 7

Kalimpong – Bagdogra- Delhi Depart

80 kms / 3 hrs drive and 1. 30 of flight

Morning; transfer to the Bagdogra airport to board a flight back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi; transfer to the hotel located in the city center. Rest of the day is to relax at the hotel. Stay overnight.

Day 8

Delhi - International airport

Day is at leisure. Evening; transfer to the international airport to continue towards your onward travel.
