SankalpTaru Foundation is an NGO that plants trees from the majestic mountains of Leh, Ladakh to the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Sundarbans of West Bengal.
So far, they have planted more than 750,000 trees in 16 Indian states and 12 majorly polluted cities of the country. We are supporting rural farmers and empowering women to uplift their livelihood by the means of tree plantation.
With our healthy green trees, we enlighten school students about environment conservation and help the global public to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute towards the sustainable development of the planet. Aided by IT systems, we have integrated GPS technology with Google Earth and Google Maps to devise geo-tagging of trees, thus providing visibility and transparency to our stakeholders and contributors.
